Driving Change and Inclusion in the Tech Industry
Including Us in Tech is an organization dedicated to increasing diversity and fostering inclusion in the technology sector. We believe that a tech industry that represents the full spectrum of human diversity is not only more equitable but also more innovative and effective.
Our Mission
To create pathways for people of color to enter, thrive, and lead in the technology industry, while advocating for systemic changes that promote diversity and inclusion at all levels.

Our Approach
- Education and Skill Development: Providing training and resources to equip individuals with the skills needed to succeed in tech.
- Mentorship and Sponsorship: Connecting aspiring professionals with experienced mentors and sponsors in the industry.
- Career Support: Offering job placement assistance, career counseling, and professional development opportunities.
- Advocacy and Research: Conducting research and advocating for policies that promote diversity and inclusion in tech.
- Community Building: Creating a supportive network for people of color in the tech industry.
Our Impact
We officially launched our initiative in August 2024, setting ambitious goals for our impact in the tech industry. We hope to train over 5,000 individuals in various tech skills, empowering them with the knowledge and abilities needed to succeed in the digital age. Our aim is to place more than 1,000 people of color in tech roles, actively working to increase diversity and representation in the field.
We plan to forge partnerships with over 100 tech companies, collaborating on diversity initiatives that will shape the industry’s future. To contribute to the broader conversation and drive change, we aspire to publish 20 research papers on diversity in tech, providing valuable insights and data-driven recommendations.
Through our awareness campaigns, we hope to reach more than 1 million people, spreading our message of inclusivity and opportunity in the tech sector far and wide. These goals represent our commitment to creating lasting change and fostering a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive tech industry for all.
