Teri Green-Manson is a visionary cybersecurity executive with over 18 years of experience in technology and 12 years in executive leadership. Her journey—from overcoming early life adversity to leading as a CIO, CISO, and Cybersecurity Advisor—has been defined by resilience, innovation, and a deep commitment to inclusive excellence.
She has architected and implemented ISO 27001 frameworks, secured infrastructure for over 170 school districts during the COVID-19 pandemic, and led mission-critical cybersecurity transformations across public, private, and nonprofit sectors. As the creator of “Encrypted Diversity,” Teri champions representation as a foundational element of effective cybersecurity, advocating for equity as a core security principle.
Teri holds a Master’s degree in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Penn State University and is pursuing a Ph.D. in Policy and Law with a minor in Cybersecurity, aiming to influence national legislation that secures underserved communities and promotes ethical governance in cyberspace.
She was recently confirmed as Board President of the WiCyS St. Louis Metropolitan Affiliate, where she leads regional efforts to elevate women in cybersecurity through mentorship, training, and community engagement. A dynamic international speaker, Teri has shared her voice at global conferences including SANS, Wonder Women Tech, and K12 SIX, and is widely recognized as a role model, thought leader, and catalyst for change.
